Group Therapy
Group Therapy
Group therapy can be a helpful way to improve your relationships, learn about yourself, and get feedback from others in a safe, supportive, confidential environment. You will have the chance to share your experiences with others and practice being more genuine and honest about your thoughts, feelings, and reactions to others. This experience often fosters a deeper understanding of how your interpersonal style, beliefs, and moment-to-moment perceptions impact your connection with others. Finally, group therapy offers the unique opportunity to practice interacting with others differently in order to achieve more authentic, healthy, and satisfying relationships.
Group therapy can be an effective primary mode of treatment or can be used in conjunction with individual therapy. It can be helpful for those struggling with things such as loneliness, interpersonal challenges, anxiety, depression, family conflict, grief or loss, or other relationship concerns. Group therapy also offers a healing and affirming space for those who have experienced trauma as well as for individuals looking to connect and share with others with similar identities (e.g., LGBTQ+, people of color, etc.). Groups meet weekly and typically consist of 4-8 members.
Please contact me about potential group opportunities as they shift throughout the year.
